Dana Harris joined North Carolina State University as Vice President of Finance and University Treasurer, leading five divisions within the Finance Department responsible for university-wide financial services and business operations. of contracts and grants, and foundation accounting and investments. Harris brings over 18 years of public higher education experience to North Carolina State University and currently serves as Vice President for Finance at UNC Wilmington. His past positions at UNC Wilmington included Senior Associate Athletic Director of Internal Operations and Director of Internal Audit. Prior to UNC Wilmington, Harris was an Assistant State Auditor for North Carolina, where he served for 14 years.

Although new to North Carolina, Harris is no stranger to the Wolfpack family. Her husband is a North Carolina graduate. Her two of her three children have graduated from college, and her third child is due to graduate in the spring.
