thursday, british rapper Matangi Arul Pragasam, who uses the stage name MIA He said a nuclear war could wipe out humanity – perhaps as a result of those who lack critical thinking skills.
The rapper, who frequently discusses politics and culture on social media, commented on Wednesday’s ruling against Alex Jones, whose Infowars host was ordered to pay nearly $1 billion in the Sandy Hook defamation case.
“Alex Jones lied, Pfizer lied, both are trendy,” MIA said in a tweet Wednesday after the verdict. “One with penalties, one without. Otherwise, this is as crazy as we should get before a nuclear war wipes out humanity.”

The rapper appeared to refer to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine as the rhetoric of world leaders heightens fears of nuclear war.
“That 2022, so far, no one on this planet has been paid $1 billion for lying or denying,” the MIA said in an apparent criticism of the verdict early Thursday morning. .

More than a dozen members of the victim’s family claimed to have been harassed and received death threats following Jones’ suggestion that the shooting was staged. Jones’ companies, his Infowars and Free Speech Systems, filed for bankruptcy protection earlier this year. The judgment only included compensatory damages, which is speculated to increase after punitive damages have been awarded.
“If Alex Jones pays to lie, shouldn’t all celebrities promoting vaccines pay too?” the rapper previously posted.

During testimony before the European Parliament on October 10, Pfizer executives said they were unsure whether the company could prevent COVID-19 before releasing a vaccine. This admission reads, “Wolverine’s healing abilities can’t save me from Covid. But vaccines can. Get it!”
In an Instagram post, Rosario Dawson said, “Excited to have my first vaccination.
As you know, science shows that these vaccines are safe and effective in preventing COVID infection and serious illness. Together with wearing masks, social distancing, hand washing, and other measures recommended by the CDC and public health officials, these will fight deadly pandemics that have ravaged our nations and communities in the past. It’s the best weapon we have for Year. And if enough people get vaccinated, it could help end this once and for all.
President Joe Biden famously claimed at a CNN Town Hall in July 2021, “If you have these vaccines, you won’t get COVID.”
“If you’re vaccinated, you won’t be hospitalized, put into intensive care, or die,” Biden said.
The rapper noted other high-profile examples of alleged lies from public figures and media figures that hadn’t received the same scrutiny as Jones’ Sandy Hook comments.
“I would like to speak to a lawyer and defamation expert about the gaslighting of Tamil death tolls in 2009. It pushed the same story: 100,000 families grieving and being denied the right to be counted,” MIA said, pointing to former George W. The rapper also tweeted, “2008 financial crisis.” This is a clear reference to the lack of criminal investigation into Wall Street and the banking industry.
Fears of nuclear war rose after Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a treaty annexing four regions of Ukraine currently occupied by troops. The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) appears to have called on Putin to launch a pre-emptive strike on Russia to prevent it from doing so.
The US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) also announced earlier this month that it had purchased a $290 million emergency nuclear radiation therapy drug, Nplate.
Last Friday, President Biden commented on rising nuclear rhetoric, saying, “We haven’t faced the prospect of Armageddon since President Kennedy and the Cuban Missile Crisis.”
