The ranking focuses on the 100 largest markets across the country, targeting those expected to see the highest combined growth in home sales and listing prices over the next year. Add the projected sales and price growth to arrive at a single number that determines your ranking.
For example, the Charlotte-Concord-Gastonia market is expected to experience a slight year-on-year decline in home sales of 0.3%, while prices are up 5.5%. This brings the local market total to 5.2%, placing us 50th in the rankings.
